Have you experienced abuse in an intimate relationship?
Would you be happy to spend 20-30 minutes of your time completing an online questionnaire?
What is the study about?
This research project is being run by a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at the University of Oxford. The study aims to explore women’s experience of abusive relationships. It is well documented that many women return to abusive relationships; however there is relatively little research on this. It is hoped that a greater understanding of why some women return to abusive relationships and why some women do not, will help inform services and professionals to support women to be able to stay away from abusive relationships.
Who is the study for?
Þ Women who have experienced intimate partner violence
Þ Have left the abusive relationship at least once
Þ Aged 18 years and above (and were aged 18 and above at the time of leaving the abusive relationship)
Þ The study is interested in hearing from both women who have and have not returned to abusive relationships
